iTechLCD’s FOP1040HB-SAW-S/U, 10.4 Inch High Bright SAW USB Touch LED Open Frame Monitor is intended for outdoor use and therefore has a sunlight readable display. To differentiate between the two touch interfaces, different models are assigned to help determine which model is which. The FOP1040HB-SAW-S is the 10” high bright SAW RS232 serial touch LED open frame monitor. The FOP1040HB-SAW-U is the 10 inch high bright SAW USB touch LED open frame monitor.

Is the 10” industrial high bright SAW touch screen monitor only meant to be used outdoors? While it is a sunlight readable monitor, it is not limited to only the outdoors. This touch monitor can be used in both an indoor and outdoor environments. A high bright or sunlight readable monitor would be best utilized outdoors and would prove to be used at maximum potential.

Can this touch monitor handle industrial applications? iTechLCD’s FOP1040HB-SAW-S/U is designed for rugged use and all components are industrial grade, from the chassis that is milled from a CNC machine to each internal component, including the LCD panel to the SAW touch glass. All parts are tested to endure the harshest of conditions and can withstand any application that the 10” high bright touch monitor is integrated into.
