1U Rackmount LCD Monitor Drawers

A 1U rackmount LCD monitor drawer provides a space-saving display that slides into the equipment rack when not in use. The monitor can be pulled out and positioned for system monitoring, equipment configuration, maintenance and control applications. i-Tech offers 1U LCD drawers in multiple screen sizes and resolutions, including 17", 17.3", 19", 20" and other configurations. Selected models are available with short-depth chassis for installations where rack depth is limited.

Touch Screen Rackmount Monitors

For applications requiring direct operator control, selected rackmount LCD monitor drawers are available with touch screen interfaces. Depending on the model, touch options may include resistive touch or projected capacitive multi-touch with USB touch controllers. Touch screen rackmount monitors are commonly used in industrial control systems, test equipment, automation systems, command consoles and other applications where keyboard and mouse operation may not be preferred.

Choosing a Rackmount LCD Monitor Drawer

When selecting a rackmount monitor drawer, consider the available rack depth, display size, resolution, required video interface, operating temperature and whether touch screen operation is required. For shallow server racks or mobile equipment cases, choose a short-depth rackmount LCD drawer. For outdoor, transportation or field environments, consider a high-brightness or wide-temperature model.
