i-Tech offers industrial rackmount LCD keyboard and KVM console drawers for 19-inch server racks, military systems, control rooms, data centers and industrial applications. Our rackmount LCD consoles combine an LCD display, keyboard and touchpad or trackball into a compact 1U or 2U rackmount drawer, with configurations available with or without an integrated KVM switch.

Choose from 17-inch and 17.3-inch Full HD and 4K rackmount LCD consoles, short-depth models for space-constrained racks, rugged models with sealed IP65 keyboards, and high-brightness displays for demanding environments. How to Choose a Rackmount LCD Keyboard Console

A rackmount LCD keyboard console combines a display, keyboard and pointing device into a sliding drawer installed in a standard 19-inch equipment rack. It provides local access to servers and industrial computers while using as little as 1U of rack space.

1U vs. 2U Rackmount LCD Consoles

A 1U rackmount LCD console is ideal when rack space is limited. The LCD folds into the drawer when not in use and slides out for server access. A 2U design can provide additional space for larger displays, dual-slide mechanisms or specialized keyboard configurations.

Rackmount LCD With or Without KVM

For controlling a single computer, a rackmount LCD keyboard drawer without an integrated KVM may be sufficient. When multiple servers must be managed from one console, choose an integrated 8-port, 16-port or 32-port KVM switch.

KVM-over-IP models add remote access for server administration, troubleshooting and maintenance.

Full HD and 4K Rackmount LCD Consoles

Traditional rackmount LCD consoles commonly use 17-inch or 19-inch 1280x1024 displays. Newer 17.3-inch widescreen models are available with 1920x1080 Full HD and 3840x2160 4K UHD resolution, providing additional workspace for modern server and control applications.

Short-Depth Rackmount LCD Drawers

Short-depth rackmount LCD consoles are designed for shallow server racks, mobile racks, military cabinets and other installations where standard-depth equipment cannot be accommodated. Always confirm rack depth, rear mounting distance and cable clearance before selecting a console.

Rugged and Military Rackmount LCD Consoles

For military, marine and industrial environments, i-Tech offers rugged rackmount LCD keyboard drawers with options including sealed IP65 keyboards, backlit touchpads or trackballs, EMC glass, high-brightness LCD panels, optical bonding and wide-range DC power input.

Selected rugged configurations can also be designed for requirements involving MIL-STD shock, vibration and environmental conditions.

Video and KVM Interface Options

Rackmount LCD consoles can be configured for legacy and modern equipment using interfaces including VGA, DVI-D, HDMI, DisplayPort and USB. Integrated KVM configurations are available using DB-15 combo KVM, CAT6 KVM and KVM-over-IP architectures.

For applications involving existing server hardware, confirm the required video interface, keyboard/mouse interface, number of computers, local or remote users and cable length before selecting the KVM configuration.
