The largest of all of iTechLCD’s Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) touch screen monitors, is the FOP2400-SAW-S, 24” wide SAW touch screen LED open frame monitor. This particular unit is unique, as it offers both a serial and USB touch interface as a standard and is also a 16:9 aspect ratio monitor. This is the only 24” wide screen SAW touch LED open frame monitor.

Why is there not a 24” 4:3 aspect monitor? As monitor sizes grow in size, a higher resolution is needed to accommodate the screen, otherwise the picture quality will be lacking. As the sizes of screens begin to grow, the true resolution size begins to develop and thus the 24” begins to become a wide format display.
