Half-size SBCs come with ISA only or with a PISA
edge connector. PISA, or half-size PCI/ISA, combines both ISA and PCI signals in
a single edge connector. ISA backplanes or PISA backplanes allow addition of
both ISA and PCI add-on cards. Half-sze SBC are mostly applied in compact and
rugged enclosure, suited for on the factory floor standalone controller or other
applications in harsh environments.
