The FOP8400, 8.4 (8) Inch LED Open Frame Monitor is iTechLCD’s thinnest monitor and is great for applications that require a monitor that leaves a very small footprint behind. This brightness on this screen shines at 450 nits and is perfect for any type of indoor application. Whether there is high ambient lighting to just normal operating conditions, this open frame display will still shine brightly.

How is the FOP8400 so thin? The components inside the unit itself are very small boards that all function together to light up the LCD panel, which is also very thin as well. Since all of the parts are space friendly, the chassis itself does not have to be very large to hold all of the components together, as long as the housing is durable enough to be integrated into a larger enclosure without getting damaged.

What makes an LED backlit panel more effective than a CCFL backlit panel? iTechLCD’s 8.4 inch LED open frame monitor provides a brighter display, while consuming less energy and contains no mercury like its CCFL counterpart, making this panel more environmentally friendly.

The FOP8400, 8” LED open frame monitor is perfect for many small applications that only has space for a small form fitting monitor like instrumentation panels, control panels, and Kiosks. The sturdy chassis is milled from high quality materials through a CNC machine.
